New Month, New Job

It's been a while since I've been on here, I apologize for that! Been a lot going on, so I will try to catch you up.
I was offered and accepted a position with the University of Wyoming and start on Monday. I'm so incredibly excited to begin a new chapter in my life. Starbucks has been great, Todd is great to work for and the girls (and you too Cody) have been a blast to work with. I'm truly lucky to have worked with some wonderful people. With that said, I can't wait to begin a full time regular job again. Benefits, a consistent work schedule (which leads to consistent paychecks) are going to be comforting as we try and dig our way out of debt. There are two great reasons to work for the university, the first, use of Half Acre. I can't wait to get in the gym again. I'm so tired of being fat (I know I should get off my ass and actually do something instead of sitting on it, typing about how I hate being fat). I can't wait to sweat, feel the burn in my muscles, and have the work out high again. Secondly, I can take a class a semester, and have it paid for. Perfect for someone like me who just isn't 100% positive what I want to do with my life. I know, you are all probably saying "AGAIN?!?!?! Didn't you just decide to do Pharmacy School?" You guys would be correct. So this is what I decided, I'm going to enroll in Chemistry 1020 and see how I do. If I do well, I'll progress to 1030, if not, I'll retake it once, fail twice? Well, I'm taking that as a sign that I just shouldn't be messing with chemical compositions for a living :)

If you haven't heard, a little girl Madysen went to daycare with passed away last week. It's been a rough go for everyone who attends Karen's, friends and others who have children of the same age. I can't imagine loosing a child, it's unnatural and heartbreaking. Any child loss is difficult to imagine, but for me is hard as Madysen just doesn't understand Allison is gone. She keeps asking to see her everyday, and this evening she colored a Mickey picture for her. Madysen tells me that Allison and her share the Mickey Mouse at daycare because they both love Mickey Mouse. Some day she'll understand. Luckily, Allison's parents have amazing family and friends. Hopefully the support extended their way will make things a wee more comforting in the tiring months and years ahead.

I keep saying this, and will continue to for some time, hug the ones you love, cherish every moment with them. Life truly is a gift and it is very short. I'll be back some time this week to update you on my new job.
xoxo
